1. What is MyGift.ie?

MyGift.ie is an Irish firm based in the city of Dublin. We sell unforgettable gift experiences at great value for everyone to enjoy and share with their friends and families. You can find gifts for everyone – gifts for small babies, gifts for your beloved girlfriend/boyfriend, gifts for your parents, gifts for your friends or even a special something for a bride or groom on their wedding day; you can find it here easily. Our gifts are suitable for any occasion. We provide Christmas presents, birthday presents, gifts for weddings, and even gifts for christenings and First Communions.

2. How do I pick a gift on MyGift.ie?

It can be hard to find the perfect gift for someone close to you; MyGift.ie makes things a lot easier. We have categorized gifts by occasion, by recipient, and by theme. You can browse through our experience categories and list of occasions or use a keyword search on the homepage. To put it another way - our range includes hundreds of hand-picked experiences, gifts, and lifestyle options, which means that MyGift.ie is all you need to find the perfect and unforgettable gift for anyone and for any occasion.

3. How do I buy a gift on MyGift.ie?

If you have ever purchased anything online, this buying process should be very easy for you. When you have decided on a gift that you wish to give, click on the “more info” tab and then simply click on the “buy a gift” button. You can make a purchase there and then or you can return to your shopping cart later. You will then be asked to fill in the special greeting form. By clicking the “check out” button at the end, you will be momentarily connected to the PayPal website. Once you complete your transaction, you will automatically be returned to the “thank you for your purchase” screen.

4. Are my details safe when I buy on MyGift.ie?

Yes. MyGift.ie does not see or hold your credit card details at any stage during the transaction to ensure you have 100% security and peace of mind. Your payment details are entered directly into secure servers. Your privacy is our highest priority. Under no circumstances will we ever disclose your personal information to a third party.

5. Can I personalise my gift with a message?

Absolutely! This is what the form on our checkout screen is meant for. There is a greeting field where you can express your love and feelings to the person you are giving your gift.

6. How do you deliver gift vouchers?

There are 2 delivery methods that are currently available on MyGift.ie: 1. PDF voucher ready to be printed or to be sent by email (we give you an option to print the voucher and give it to your recipient by yourself); 2. Voucher by post (we print the voucher off in a nice and stylish way and send it to the recipient’s or even to your own home address).

7. What payment methods do you accept?

We can accept payments by PayPal, credit cards and bank transfer.

8. Right, I’ve got a voucher. How do I use it?

Your voucher has to be activated before you contact partner suppliers directly.

9. How do I activate my voucher?

Click on “Redeem your voucher” on the top right side of the MyGift.ie homepage. Open an account and enter the voucher code to redeem the voucher.

10. Where do I find the voucher code?

The voucher code can be found directly on your voucher.

11. How long is my Voucher valid for?

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date it was bought.

12. How do I book my gift?

You can book your voucher only after you redeem it on the MyGift.ie system. To book, simply use the contact details provided on the website version of your voucher (the one that you see after redeeming your voucher) or the voucher itself. When talking to the gift provider, please mention that you have received a gift from MyGift.ie. They might ask you for your voucher code.

13. Are there any restrictions on taking part in the experiences?

Yes, in some cases there are; however, this will be clearly stated on the voucher in terms and conditions as well as in the description of the gift itself.

14. Is there an expiry date on my gift voucher?

Yes, all vouchers expire 12 months after the purchase date. The expiry date can be found on your voucher.
