Half Day Outdoor Rock Climbing Sessions in Co. Clare for Two
Outdoor climbing on real rock is true rock climbing as it was meant to be. Compared to indoor climbing, outdoor rock climbing requires you to choose your own route, thereby increasing the difficulty and complexity of the activity. As such, outdoor rock climbing gives you a greater sense of personal challenge and achievement!
Come out and experience some real cliffs in the west coast of Ireland. This course is perfect for anyone interested in learning about climbing and provides an excellent introduction into an incredible community.
While rock climbing is usually seen as a way to get outside and enjoy nature, when done properly it can also provide many exercise benefits. It can improve your cardiovascular health, muscle tone and stimulate weight loss.
Rock-climbing lessons generally run for two to two and a half hours. Normally participants get on average 5-6+ climb during the 2.5 hour course. The emphasis of these courses is to maximize climbing time, to experience indoor climbing in a safe and well structured environment and to teach you how to use the Indoor climbing wall facilities independently, and where you will have learned to belay others safely and confidently. After attending the lessons you would be able to attend our weekly Open session, if you so choose.
