60 Minutes Flying Lesson – 30 Minutes in the Sky

 

Know someone who's always looking to the sky? Give him or her (or yourself!) the chance to soar with one of our flying experiences. You can even give that special someone their own wings; the chance to learn how to fly makes a wonderful Christmas present or birthday gift for anyone who loves the air or just wants to try something new! These Flight Lessons are a one in a lifetime experience for most, to take control of an aircraft and fly for most of the flight.

All of the trial flying lessons take place on a single engine Cessna Aircraft operating at speeds of around 100mph. On returning to the airfield, the student receives a first flight certificate with details of the flight.

Activity Highlights:

- 30 Minute session on the purpose-built flight procedural trainer;

- 30 Minute flying lesson;

- Opportunity to take the controls for most of the flight;

- A souvenir photograph and a certificate.

The lesson will be strictly personal as it's just the student and our certified flight instructor. Before they board the Cessna aircraft, they’ll be going through some theory work and the all-important health and safety manual. They’ll also spend a supervised 30 minutes on the purpose-built computer based flight procedural trainer. After that the student and their instructor will buckle up and prepare for take-off. The flight with a take-off takes 30 minutes. The student gets a cool photo of them in action to take home and mount on the wall as well as a certificate on completion.
