The Islandbridge Escape for Two - Liffey Kayaking in Dublin
Escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin City by exploring the River Liffey as far as the Islandbridge Weir. This is one of the most beautiful parts of Dublin City and has a real country feel to it. This is a 10KM kayaking trip and is a real adventure! Bring some snacks with you to have when we stop halfway. This trip takes 3 hours and will show you parts of Dublin like never before. From our base at Dublin City Moorings you’ll Kayaking through the heart of Dublin City Centre and up past Heuston train station before exploring the wilder section of the River Liffey. Rich in wildlife and greenery, you’ll quickly forget that you’re in the city as you Kayak your way all the way up to the Islandbridge weir where we’ll stop for a break and take it all in. If you have snacks with you, we’ll enjoy them here! These trips are carefully scheduled with tidal conditions to ensure we can get the most out of the experience. Dress Code
We advise that you bring the following: Clothes and footwear for wearing on the kayak (These will get wet); A towel; Change of clothes for afterwards; If you have waterproof clothing or a wetsuit you can bring them to use if you wish; We have a range of wetsuit sizes available to hire for just €5

Weather
Activities are weather dependent. We will do our best to give as much notice as possible if your session needs to be rescheduled due to weather conditions on the day. We operate in a sheltered area so weather cancellations do not happen too often, however safety is paramount so please understand if we do have to reschedule.
